Isn’t that kinda like asking which is prettier, Eleanor Roosevelt or Camilla Bowles?

It really bugs me that the hood ends at a straight line. Why can’t it just go out to the grille bar thing?

It seems like so many cars do that, and I hate it.

Maybe it has something to do with pedestrian safty. A bit of plastic crippled zone, instead of essentially a steel blade,

Interesting. I would have thought the v6 would have won. And once a tune is out for the turbo, look out! (speaking as a turbo GTI owner who hasn’t tuned because he likes his clutch).

Also you’ll be able to get the 2.0T with a manual, which you couldn’t do with the V6 sedan. And timing chain > timing belt any day.

It’s essentially a detuned Type R engine, so it shouldn’t be long at all for tunes to appear.

Poor excuse.

New one is actually 200lbs lighter probably mostly engine and materials changes.

The V6 might have more peak HP, but the 2.0T has more torque, and should have a flat torque curve which will give it more HP over the rev range. With less weight, and a 10 speed auto (old one had a 6 speed), the V6 didn’t stand much of a chance.

I hope Honda offers a non-detuned CTR engine on the Accord soon. An Accord Type-R would be awesome. That said, the Ecoboost they have on it now is quick :p
Also, how does the new turbo Accord compare to the new V6 Camry
